How to Get Around

Kamloops is in the centre of the Thompson-Nicola region of the British Columbia interior. It sits at the junction of three major highways and is just a four-hour drive from Vancouver, or seven from Calgary. View Map.

There are daily flights to Kamloops from Calgary, Vancouver, and Seattle (seasonal), with convenient connections through those hubs to communities across the continent. Downtown Kamloops is only 15 minutes from the airport.

Kamloops Airport

The Kamloops Airport is one the most important economic hubs in the region and plays a significant role in supporting the city’s social and economic well being. Currently the airport features direct daily flights to and from the international gateway cities of Vancouver and Calgary as well as daily flights to and from Prince George. It only takes less than an hour to fly from Vancouver and an hour and a half from Calgary.
