PacificSport

 

 

Canadian Sport Centre Pacific (CSC Pacific), in partnership with the national network of Canadian Sport Centres and the BC network of PacificSport Centres, delivers sport performance programs and services to provide athletes and coaches living in BC with every advantage to win medals for Canada.

PacificSport - Interior BC is a not for profit society formed as a Government of BC and 2010 Legacies Now initiative. As the first named Regional Centre in BC in November 1994, PacificSport has worked hard to develop and enhance sport in this region. Our principal partners include the City of Kamloops, School District #73, Thompson Rivers University and the Kamloops Indian Band.

PacificSport fosters a dynamic environment for sport performance at all levels via Three Waves of Excellence - strategic investment in identified sports, a world-class training environment, and quality athlete and coach services - working in partnership with regional, provincial and national sport organizations.

PacificSport Grants 

PacificSport Regional Sport Centre - Interior BC acknowledges the contribution of regional centre coaches and their commitment to the development of high performance athletes. PacificSport recognizes the need for financial aid to support the training and competition needs of national caliber, carded athletes within our region. These grants are to provide qualified athletes and coaches with travel assistance.

The Travel Advisory Committee meets 3 times each calendar year to review bursary applications and disperse funds. Allocation will depend on the amount and availability of funds. Applications are to be submitted to the General Manager - Carolynn Boomer.  Application deadline: Apr 1 - May 31
