Since 2001, Kamloops has been synonymous with first class events, a knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteer base, strong athletic showings, and a wide variety of outstanding venues.
The City of Kamloops has long recognized Sport Tourism as an economic generator for the City and to that end has made our Tournament Capital Program one of its top goals in City Council's Strategic Plan.
With close to $90 million invested in new and renovated facilities to launch this program, we are well on our way to becoming Canada's premier host centre for tournaments, cultural events, high performance training camps and national and international competitions.
The City of Kamloops has built its vision and dream around the Canadian Sport Policy. By embracing these goals, Kamloops is realizing the results of increased participation, economic generation of Sport Tourism, first class facilities, and benefiting from an active and healthier community.
Our first class Facillities to list a few include the Tournament Capital Centre (TCC) and multiple Pools, Arenas, Fields, and Gymnasiums.
